For our project with Stephenson Hardwood, a law firm that wanted a distinctive, one of a kind look, we crafted and installed custom leather wall panels designed to break away from traditional office aesthetics. The goal was to create a reception area and lobby that embodied both sophistication and uniqueness, setting the firm apart from conventional law firm interiors.
To achieve this, we used rectangular leather panels with a luxurious padded effect, incorporating 120mm foam to give each panel a plush, substantial feel. The padding added dimension and depth, transforming the wall into a statement piece while adding a sense of warmth and comfort to the typically formal space. These panels were arranged to fully clad the walls, creating a seamless, monolithic look that immediately captivates anyone entering the reception or lobby areas.
This design was about more than aesthetics; the padded leather added acoustic benefits, subtly softening ambient noise to enhance the sense of privacy and calm. The rich texture and quality of the leather brought an elevated, tactile experience to the space, setting a bold, modern tone that aligns with Stephenson Hardwood’s vision. Through this project, we succeeded in creating a striking yet refined environment, making a memorable impression that reflects the firm’s dedication to both excellence and originality.
