ALMA was commissioned to provide upholstered fabric panels for headboards in 203 guestrooms at the Park Hyatt Hotel, situated with a stunning view of the South Bank of the River Thames. The project was a substantial undertaking, with each panel custom-made to fit the high standards of the hotel, offering both visual appeal and comfort.
These fabric panels were designed to complement the refined and modern interiors of the guestrooms, adding texture and warmth to the space. The choice of fabrics, colours and finishes was carefully considered to harmonise with the hotel’s existing aesthetic while enhancing the serene atmosphere of each room. The panels not only function as design elements, but also contribute to the acoustic quality of the rooms, softening sound for a more tranquil environment.
Located in one of London’s most prestigious areas, the Park Hyatt needed a design approach that would reflect its location and clientele. ALMA’s fabric panels helped achieve this, integrating seamlessly with the clean lines and contemporary feel of the hotel.
